Food Bid
Coastal Plain Area Economic Opportunity Authority Incorporated (CPEOA)is seeking bid proposals from vendors to deliver food and non-food paper products to our twelve (12) Head Start Facilities, during the bid period of October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. CPAEOA will be serving an estimated 377,400 meals for breakfast, lunch and snack Monday-Friday across the following counties: Berrien, Ben Hill, Cook, Lanier, Lowndes, (which includes four locations), Irwin, Brooks, Tift and Turner County.
Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) provides nutritious meals and snacks to infants and children as a regular part of their day care. Coastal Plain Area E.O.A. are licensed and approved to provide day care services and participate in CACFP. We service all children who are enrolled. The operating days will be Monday through Friday.
Bid packets, specifying items needed and other bid requirements, may be obtained between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from the location listed below, or a request for a bid packet may be emailed to lmccarty@coastalplain.org. Deadline for submissions of bids will be August 23, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. A public bid opening will be held August 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at the Coastal Plain Central Office at the above mentioned address.
